SCD IDEA LAB Workbook Lab: COLOR & IMAGINATION
$35.00
What's a salon? Historically, salons were an important place for the exchange of ideas. Thanks Wikipedia!
To kick off the Storycamp DiscoFall 22 workshop season, a group of international artists, illustrators, designers, storytellers, creatives and anyone longing for some good conversation and a good bit of wonky creativity in their lives met for one night only. The topic was COLOR & IMAGINATION.
Through discussing the ways we consider and use color, we shared how we do this in our own work and how we might follow our ideas in new and deeper ways to think through our work, through storytelling and imagination and this "Idea Lab" and accompanying workbook is now available to share with you and is packed with new ways to think about your work and understand color in fun non-technical ways.
The workbook is over 25 pages chock a block full of inspiration by way of links to artists, art, readings, poems, even a special playlist(!) with art and writing exercises to spark your creativity and imagination using COLOR as a guide star.
The video (if you choose both) gives you new ways of seeing color with exercises and considerations to see your work and challenge your notions about color, confidence and how you think of yourself as an artist. You'll jump into BIG ideas, hear how our conversation inspired big ideas and consider how radical imagination, community and approaches to our own creativity can generate fresh inspiration for your own unique ways of working.
