This program is set up for a small group of artists working in different disciplines to work alongside one another in group sessions, creating a trustworthy community in which to observe, listen and meet each artist where they are. Most importantly, we'll inspire further work/play by seeing each other through our ideas, rough patches and breakthroughs, and produce work toward our goals. We'll focus deeply on seeing and keep a journal throughout. We'll also discuss ways writing can influence and add meaning to our work.

Open to 8 visual artists, illustrators and storytellers of all kinds.

Each week will be about sharing, reflecting and working through our own individual projects. A project can be anything you are dreaming to do but don't know how to begin, the one you're putting off or aside, the one you can't finish or ideate fully, the one that, with the support and camaraderie of the right community, can help you stay generative and challenged to see it through.

So often it's hard to make time to commit to a relationship to our projects. Former participants say that these guided workshops have allowed them the space and community to find out new things about their work and themselves which kept them curious and determined. To be in conversation about their work and even the process of making their work was just what they'd been looking for.

And so we will plan, plot, listen, talk, take notes, and adapt as we see what it is our projects need to keep moving with and through them. I'll offer optional open-ended prompts, readings and new artist's work to consider each week for extra inspiration. Our time together will not simply provide accountability, but the encouragement to keep your momentum and the confidence to move through and explore your dream project more deeply with personal feedback from me and the group!

This is a rigorous and challenging course but the growth on the other side is phenomenal.

What it is: This will be an at-home residency/workshop to provide space and place to focus, unpack, nudge, and direct the project you would like to focused on or complete with guidance and support. We'll have a dedicated Slack group to help us along and provide community.

In our first session we'll introduce our work and discuss and shape a direction for your project or just some dreams or goals you'd like to realize in our time together. Each week I'll give you a prompt and some ways to begin to explore and in workshop we'll show our work and ideas in process and I'll lead sessions where you'll get and give valuable feedback to one another.

Upon registration we'll set up a 50 minute 1:1 session with me before we begin with the group to discuss your thoughts about your project ideas and its whats and how's. I'll prompt you to discover more about what your project could be and what progress looks like to you and hatch a plan for how to take actionable steps to get started.

We will meet via Zoom and in a dedicated Slack or Discord group.
Knowledge of Word or Pages + ability to create a PDF is suggested and ability to use Zoom and the Slack app (it's easy!)
